silence is NOT golden.

It’s official. The Supreme Court has ruled. As of Friday, December 18^th, 2009, once the government declares you to be an “enemy of the state“, you have no rights. None. Zero. Zilch. Zip. Squat. Nada. Nothing. In fact, they’ve declared that you don’t even have rights under the Geneva Convention. In fact, as far as the Administration and the Supreme Court are concerned, you do not exist as a person. The US Government now has the absolute authority to simply accuse you of being an Enemy of the State, and then without even proving it, without a hearing, without a warrant, without so much as the blink of an eye, to throw you in a cell and let you rot, to never see the light of day again. That’s correct. Simply accusing you is enough. And then you are gone. Forever.

Personally, this power scares the shit out of me. It’s too much. It is megalomania of the highest degree. It is power beyond what any government should ever be allowed to possess. It is, in fact, a direct and blatant violation of our Constitution, which, through the foresight of our founding fathers, expressly forbids this type of power. Why? Because this is the absolute worst offense against freedom that anyone could ever imagine. Free speech is effectively dead. Who will speak up against the government when you can be made to disappear? Speak up -> Vanish.
