our taxes are too high!
I find a completely absurd burden placed upon the American worker. There is no good reason at all for income tax on income less than $200,000 per year. I find myself leaning towards pushing it all back onto business, with a scaled percentage, and very few if any deductions/depreciation. Small businesses don’t panic. You’re a friend, not a target. I know you’re struggling too.
Productivity gains alone, even over just the last 10 years, should have wiped out middle and working class income taxes. But no, our income taxes have continued ever upward. This is just plain wrong.
Somebody is making entirely too much money, and it’s not us.
